POSTGRESQL “THE RIGHT ENTRANT” Brief Introduction: POSTGRESQL is also an RDBMS that was released on July 8, 1996, my Postgres Global Development Group. The name changed to PostgreSQL later on as it portrayed its SQL support. The evolutionary byproduct of the Ingres project at the University of California became a competitor of MS-SQL, all thanks to Michael Stonebraker. This post-Ingres project highlighted the problems with modern database systems. A Protuberant Competitor PostgreSQL made a prominent name in the market quickly as it was free, cross-platform, and has a strong community, which lets users share their inconveniences and problems. Microsoft has been one of the oldest systems creations and solutions company that has blind reliance on corporate sectors and for all the right reasons.
